Had a lovely time. We started the day with rain but it had stopped by the time we left and the sun was out by the time we arrived. Ms. Triss performed flawlessly - finally - she has been grumpy for much of the summer and it has also been too hot to drive.

Unfortunately she screeched at me on the way home and the alternator light popped on. Pulled over to discover that the bottom bolt had loosened on the alternator. (again) fortunately the bolt was still present and it was a matter of 5 minutes to get everything tightened and adjusted again. Also lovely that two members of the club pulled over to check if all was OK.

BTW curiously there were no Austin Healeys of any type present which is unusual to be sure.

But at least you had a Lotus Elan hiding between the MGB and the TR.

They chickened out, knowing they could never compete ...
