Capture Nuts...

I mounted my new wheels and tires today.. I went with Kumoto 185/65/15 with Dayton chrome 72 spoke, tubless, 5" wide wire wheels. They look great!! Changed the whole appearance of the car.

Then I took it for a ride and found I had a small water leak at the top hose. I changed the clamp to a new kind of stainless and it stopped (fingers crossed).

While I was in the garage I decided to change the headlight rubber seals as the old owner painted over them and they always bothered me. Taking the screw out of the bottom bracket turned into a real hassle and I had to cut off the head. The capture nut turned and the little ears broke when I tried to restore it.

Does anyone sell capture nuts and the little holder as a replacement? I can find a screw that will work.

I really appreciated the nice 70 degree day. It felt good to get in the garage for a change...

Thanks guys..

Please let me know...

I would give TRF a call. They always have a good supply of hardware items.

Pictures, Roy, pictures! C'mon now, you know the rules about teasing with a project.
