Well, we expected very little action today- after
36+ inches of rains was dumped on the island
last Sun thru Wed. Estuary mostly mudded up and most
of the bait fish and smaller species killed off from
all the fresh water.

Capt' Dale rarely gets skunked. No live bait? Fine..
we will fish with artificials.

A Grand Slam today! Three 3 species caught. The professional
guides all returned, tail betwenn their legs.

Several nice tarpon boatsided and released, several nice
hookups and strikes, a truly odd, large Ribbon fish and
a Puffer fish caught. All fish today released alive and well.

<span style="font-weight: bold"> <span style="color: #660000">je, je, je, je - the Pros caught naught today! </span></span>

Here's a video of the final minutes of a tarpon battle.
Also some still photos-

Tony- I almost did drive Crypty and I INTENDED to.

5:00 AM this morning it was pounding down rain.
I moved my gear over to the Wrangler. My rods
don't fit in the TR6 with the top up.

Dale;

After all that rain, you have to be happy being on the water again.

Looks like fun!

Keep in touch man.

<span style="color: #990000">Will do Dave!!

You hit the nail.
I was like STARVING wanting to be on the water.
Even the Mrs. felt bad for me with so little fishing
time in the last months. Today 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

But a great sadness today as well.
My Lucky Charm baseball cap from Tony The Autoist
blew off at 50 MPH and we tried and tried to recover it.
No luck. So I'm wearing a Banco Popular cap. Dang!!

Best regards to Annie and the kittens.

Man Dale, you are really good with that light tackle fishing. People should be standing in line to get a chance to go out with you.

OK Tony, next move is yours. With all the parts Dale buys, he should get a hat with every order. :jester:

Boy, that's one BIG puffer there Dale!!! Too bad he wasn't a little'un...a bunch of them make for a real tasty meal
