Folks...

I'm down to the last few oil leaks and turns out that the Cap Nut on the oil locating screw is leaking. Can this be removed without issue to the oil pump? I thought I would put a little sealant on it to stop the leak.

It's the Nut right under the Tach take off, fixed that leak

Thanks,
Michael.

The nut is just a locking nut. It can be removed, the slotted setscrew under tightened to just snug, & the cap nut snugged down. There is supposed to be a copper washer under the nut to seal it.

Great, I'll I was hoping that this was just a cover.

Thanks,
Michael.
