I know it's not stock, but does anyone have any experience with a canvas top on a Spitfire 1500 in place of the stock vinyl top? Any good sources?
 
Rock auto has Robbins canvas tops for $408. Google coupon code and you will find a code that will get you another 5% off.
 
I put one on a buddies about 7 years ago and still fits like a glove. The car is kept in a garage, with top down, but on the few times it's been needed, worked without any big effort on the snaps. When installed we gave the snaps a extra 1/2 inch longer than where a tight fit would have been placed. Nothing worse than struggling to snap a top in the rain. Be sure and seal it with a good top sealer, the canvas ones need it mainly for bird poop cleaning.
