No seriously, if any of you BCFers live anywhere reasonably close to Canada there are lots of great British/European car events in the southern half of the country /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif During my time out in Ontario I often saw cars with American licence plates at shows, usually New York or Michigan but I also saw New Jersey once.

Here's a list of some events up here this upcoming summer (all of these are also listed in the Calendar here on BCF):

- June 13 - MG Invitational show in Toronto, Ontario (open to all British and European)

- June 25/27 - VARAC Vintage Racing Festival, Mosport Raceway, Ontario. I highly reccomend this one!

- July 2/4 - Rally in the Valley in Penticton, B.C., I've been told this is an excellent event that is more driving rally than car show but then that's the point anyway isn't it?

- July 9/11 - P.E.I. British Car Day, on Prince Edward Island in the Maritimes on the east coast. I've been told it's a nice show that is growing every year

- July 10/11 - European Interest Car Show in Ontario, nice little show for both British and European cars

- July 18 - Brits in the Park in Ontario. Another nice show, not huge but in a beautiful area of Ontario (Lindsay)

- August 15 - St. George's Car Show in Ontario. For British and European cars, very nice show in London, not too far from Detroit

- August 22 - British Car Day (Kingston, Ontario). Regional show in a gorgeous region of Ontario

- September 10/12 - European Classic Car Show Meet weekend in Alberta. Open to both British and European cars, events all weekend, smaller meet but an ideal weekend trip for any of those members in Montana or Idaho

- September 11/12 - English Car Affair in the Park in Victoria, B.C. One of two excellent events during the year in the Vancouver/Victoria area, I know lots of Americans from the west coast drive up for this meet

- September 19 - British Car Day (Oakville, Ontario). Probably the biggest all-British meet in North American, every year averages more than 1,000 cars, always lots of American plates at the show

Just may make the VARAC June Festival this year. A bunch from here are going, and now it's just a matter of seeing how my schedule works out.
There are some good swap meets in Ontario as well.
