Targa Newfoundland- Sept 13 thru 20.

Maybe the coolest automotive event in North America. Vintage and modern cars run this rally with numerous high speed sections. Last year "Speed TV" did a thing on it...nothing listed on the tube so far, though.

Website: TargaNewfoundland.com, this is the event I'm setting up my 58 MK1 for, hopefully in 3 years. The site has dates for the next few years.

I'm heading over to Newfoundland on the 16th to catch the stages in and around Gander. A friend is a Marshall for a few stages so I'm hoping to catch some good action and snap some good pictures. I've also been told that I get use of his MGB while I'm there as well. Good times!

Did anybody see the TargaNewZealand on Speed today?
Awesome coverage, they also have a TourTarga, not speed competition but alongside the main Competition. Newfoundland starts now.

Well my personally results are that it was a blast. Watching the cars race through the streets of Gander was fantastic. I spent Thursday trying to stay ahead of the cars as the moved from stage to stage; find a spot to watch a stage, speed off to the next stage and watch another portion of the race. It was fantastic! I plan to go back next year.
