Thanks all! A lovely quiet day here. Partly getting darling daughter back to Toronto but mostly as we had the big family do on Monday. Still gorgeous weather and a lovely season!

(PS Poutine is gross :ROFLMAO: )
 
Well ... fried potatoes with cheese chunks and gravy isn't bad at all! Us poor grad students were enjoying that in Wisconsin back in the 1970s.

I was up in Ottawa briefing the Canadian NORAD leadership on best places to place the North Warning radars back in the mid-80s, I remember on Canada Day seeing a really cool slide show of Canadian history projected on (I think) the Parliament building. Do they still do that? It was impressive.

They have done this off and on - This is from a few years ago - Mrs JP and I did see this in person.

That's it, but when I saw it there was more of a narrated history of Canada as I recall.
