Can These Numbers Tell me Anything?

Off of 2 TR6 cars. Under the hood one number is 71274 CC
The other car has 2 numbers:
77254 CC
6338 C
What are these? I know they are not the commission numbers but do they indicate the years of the cars?
Thanks!

Where did you find the numbers? It is possible they are body numbers.

There should be a commission plate, which will have the VIN (or the titles will have the VIN.) From the VIN, you can tell exactly when the car was manufactured. If the car is relatively complete, but doesn't have a VIN, you should be able to tell year by certain year-to-year trim modifications.

According to the trusty Moss cat. the body number is located on a plate secured to the right hand bulkhead panel. From there on, I am a little confused as to corelation between com# and body#.
Could someone else with a Moss cat read page 2 and tell me if it makes sense? Fall issue 2 0310
