TR2/3/3A Can someone tell me height of roll bar that will allow soft top on TR3A?

I've got a street roll bar on my 1961 TR3A and from the ridge that runs across the shelf up to the top of the roll bar is 31 inches. I just picked up a used soft top and the roll bar appears to be too tall for the soft top to fit correctly and to be able to clip the back raise-the-dot connectors. If anyone has a later model TR3A (with the shelf) that has a street roll bar that will let the soft top fit correctly, please tell me the height of the top of the roll bar from the shelf? Thanks!
Regards,
Bob

Maybe a different question will help get a response that will help me out. Can someone please measure from the flat shelf behind the seat up to the underside of the very back top support bar when the soft top is up. I believe that will give me the measurement of how tall the roll bar can be. Thanks!
Regards,
Bob

Bob,

My rollbar is 29" from the shelf to the top of my roll bar. Even at 30" with padding it fits underneath the soft (and hard) top fine.
