Can Anyone Help Me Convert My Name To Latin or Latin-ish?

I'm trying to figure out what my name would be in Latin...

I'm tired of playing with the online translators I've found. None of them agree and I'm thinking that I can't trust the same people who want to tell me what my "don't care bear" and Smurf name would be:wall:

I think I've got a good version of my first name: Stephanus
Last name: Cournoyer...origin is French from the Brittany region
Cournoyerius...?
Cournerius....?

Is there a way/rules to go from old French to Latin?

Anybody know?

It's far easier to translate to 15th dylarkt dynasty southern Martian first. Makes Latin translation easy by comparison.

Cournoyer = Old French "walnut yard"

Walnut = nucis (Latin)

Yard = atrium (Latin)

Voila!

Stephanus Nucis Atrium

(Steven Nut Yard)

you really wanted this, right?

Let's see now, "amo, amas, amat" That's it, I'm out. I can translate it into Beavis & Butthead, though:

Yes nut yard would be the proper translation. I think it should actually be Stephanus Nucis Atriumius.

Steve, are you related to a guy here in Florida with a Snap-On franchise?!? Ken is my local Snap-On dealer.

Rick...You remember exactly the same words as I do from Latin class.
Stephanus.....you must be snowed in. You could use the "pig" Latin version.

...old quote, "Latin is a dead language.....dead as it can be.....it killed the Romans and it's killing me".

Was going to try and look up the Latin word for "Cheers" but think I'll take a nap,
Irene
