After looking for a REALLY nice Bugeye for six months and I think I have found the "right" car. It's in the Pasadena CA area and I'm in Maryland. The car has a Moss Eaton supercharger installed and a Riverback 5 speed transmission. I would like to find someone familiar with these modifications and hire them to look over the car. I spoke with Kim this AM. May check it out for her after Ebay bidding ends tomorrow. Looks VERY nice, somewhat pricey though.

Wow, that car has got a lot of $$$ bolted on to it. Interesting that it will "chirp" the wheels in first and second. My car could (before the broken ring) spin the wheels well into second gear. Rear disc brakes? I wonder if there was any time/effort given to balancing the cars brakes. I'd hate to lock the rears on my car before the fronts (given the short wheel base).

Having said all that... it really comes down to how well the body work and finishing is done.
