Well, you're half right!
Rut

My thoughts exactly - unless of course that is what Maine women look like! :p

Rick,
Weve done the 'rocky coast of Maine' trip a few times and Camden is one of my favorite stops, but never had that view! We have friends who now live on Pine River Pond in eastern NH, but are from Topsfield...I love that area!

Hey Rut,

We used to rent a place on Pine River Pond many years ago. We usually spend a few days in Camden every summer and love the area. I'm about 5 miles from Topsfield.
Jack owned an auto repair business in Topsfield and specialized in suspension work and sold it to his son a few years ago. He told me several stories of working on LBCs and while he didn't do many he's the kind of guy I would trust to do the job right. Once he retired and moved to PRP he got antsy and started another shop and I believe it's near Wakefield/Sanbornville.

Never seen that luggage rack, pretty nice mounting points, wouldn't mind having one of those.

The luggage rack is nice if you are going to do a lot of travelling, but I think it takes away from the sporty look of a Bugeye. just my opinion.

Agreed, mine came with one and I took it off. However now I have 4 holes filled with stainless bolts. If I plan on a trip with it, I'll put it back on. It would be nice to have one like that which uses existing fasteners.

Good for a trip. I took a trip with a friend from San Diego to Yosemitee and on to San Francisco in my 59 Bugeye in the 60's and back and we left the top at home because we needed room for luggage and it was either top down all the way or top up. luckily it never rained but we really got sunburned.

I've thought about putting a luggage rack on mine for hot rod power tour... Trunk full of tools, clothes etc on the trunk

It has taken some doing but I have convinced my wife to travel light!:encouragement:

[ I hate luggage rack holes!!]

Kurt.

Had Penny's luggage rack holes filled when I had the bodywork done. I'm a fan of traveling light -- luckily my wife is too.
