All who are thinking of attending the May coast tour at Cambria,CA better reserve a room fast. I got the second to the last room at the Creekside (holiday weekend) where the Healeys will meet. How's that for a plug, Tracy? You going?

May 26-27, 2007: Southbay Tour, Monterey to Morro Bay


A Healey Mini-vacation Adventure on
California’s Central Coast
Two nights in the Sea-side Resort of Cambria, CA

Day 1
11:30AM Meet at Spanish Bay Inn, Pebble Beach ocean view restaurant for Lunch.

Leave 12:30PM Hand outs, map etc. Tour as Group.

Arrive-3:00PM Mission San Antonio inside Fort Hunter Liggett. The third California Mission to be built (1771) in the chain of 21 and the only one that never had a City built around it. Snacks and drinks provided. More maps, and suggestions for day 2 provided at Mission.

Drive beautiful back roads with a tasty stop at Justin Winery before arriving at picturesque Cambria and the Creekside Inn. Your option for a night on the town, dinner and rest. Arrive approx 6:00PM.

Day 2
Touring the bucolic back roads of this little know and seldom traveled area, the Central California Coast.

Your choice visits to:

Morro Bay and the "big rock" where arts and crafts from around the state will be on display.
The West Coast Classic Car Show in Paso Robles for the guys, trendy shops and antique stores for the gals.
A choice of 80+ wineries for the thirsty.
Walk the tree lined streets of San Luis Obispo and feel you are back in the '50s.
Visit the opulent Hearst Castle.
Just relax on a pristine beach, and absorb the warm sun.

Rejoin the group in the evening for "show and tell" and a special treat.

Day 3
For those who choose a Tour up Coast HWY 1 to Monterey with a bluff top lunch just before Big Sur
