As Host/Leader SCTOA (Southern California Triumph Owners Association) 31st Birthday Blowout Rallye my goal was for the group spend the weekend Eating & Driving Them 2gether. Friday 6/6 @8:30 am 27 TRIUMPH show'd/rode @meet spot near Magic Mtn (So Cali) for 2-1/2 hrs drive most of which was alongside, over, under but rarely on the freeways. Group of 30 vehicles drove out on Santa Barbara Pier for Reserved Valet Parking/Group Seating Order off the menu Brunch. After another 2 hrs to destination Cambria on the Central Coast, no breakdowns, no one separated or lost. Free spirits were provided at motel before walk to Reserved Group Seating/Order off the menu 6:30 pm dinner then back to motel for SCTOA Birthday Cake & Pies
Saturday 6/7 8:30 am 20 TRs were off for scenic 1-1/2 hr tour to 10:30 am Reserved Group Seating/Order off the menu breakfast. After breakfast scenic 1-1/2 hr tour back to motel for a little R&R before we were at it again to dinner.
Sat nite 5pm 1 hr drive to Reserved Group Seating/Order off the menu 6:30 pm dinner @Rock n Roll Diner south of Pismo Beach then back to motel for Raffle Drawing in motel lobby. Mission accomplished moving Massive Amount of British Iron over 3 days. Clic on the links & check out the pics of who/what/where and vid of the sounds of TRIUMPH heavy on the TR6.
