Camber

Well, out of frustration from not knowing how to and how much to rotate the off set bush, I removed the off center bushings and installed the "rubber" ones that come with the new bolts. That should put me at +1 camber as Donald designed. I really like it! Sweet at 70+mph. Then, I bubbled balanced the wheels and I have only a SLIGHT vibration at 62-65 mph. The toe in was right on 1/8 inch in.

Balancing the rear drums can also reduce vibration. This was the subject of a relatively recent thread here.
 
Yep this forum is really a good place to hang out. And I believe it is one of the most congenial places on the net. We'll have to keep thanking Basil for it. ..... It has been so long since I have ever even owned bia ply tires that I pay no attention to deviating from spec for radials. I have had many cars, I have restored many cars, and every one of them have been run on Radials. Well one exception, bac about 1990 I restored a '32 Ford sedan to origianal, it did not use Radials. Anyway, every other car the front end alignments have always been set to manufacturers specification and they all ran Radials. That's just been my experience. Dave.
 
Then why not use zero camber? Best of both worlds? I drive mountain roads and freeways. Toe in is not a problem. I have a gauge to measure it..' Yep TH that is the way to go.
