Chuck called, he's to the cam on the engine build.

Is this good or has he been drinking too much coffee and eating too many donuts this morning?

Its gotta be put in at some point.

Duh. But is there a natural progression of things here? Are we half way, 2/3's the way?

Yep, I doesn't really matter when it goes in.

No telling, ask him if the crankshaft and rods are in. Why aren't you over there to observe? Its a learning experience everyone should go through.

I've gone through 6 LBC engines and I'm only 21 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh yea, crankshaft and rods are in. Can't today, on some meds for this tick bite that make me deathly ill. I WANTED to build it here.

If the crank and rods are in then the cam goes next. Oil pump after that, then the pan can be bolted up. Finally the timing gears(sprockets) can be lined up and the timing cover installed.

Were the front and rear plates removed?

Yes.

And then timeing gears and chain and head and all the externals as I call them.

Seems he is doing well, Crank and Pistons is the time killer.

NEITHER I hope, but they're concerned about Lyme's because it was a deer tick and it was fully embedded. Preventative antibiotics for infection, doxycycline or something.
