T-Series Cam swap? MG TC

Hi, I am thinking about possibly buying and installing a vintage Roots type blower in my '47 MG TC. I have read that you really have to watch the oil and water temp with this mod. Also that you must have a de-tuned cam so you don't melt valves and ruin your day.

Does anyone know where you can get an appropriate cam? Or perhaps what to ask a grinder to do to produce a cam which is safe for a blower?

I have found repaired and fit up a vintage water temp gauge. It reads in Celsius so it was a trick to find an oil temp gauge also marked off in Celsius. I spotted an Audi gauge, but of course it is in metric threads and I only have SAE and Whitworth taps. I solved the problem by re-threading and installing into a spare oil plug.

Now I am looking for a reasonable boost gauge. This stuff is available from Moss, but the admission price is too dear for me.

Next question... I am used to model T Fords... you can pull out and swap a cam without pulling out the engine. On an XPAG can this be done or do I have to pull out the engine? I know that if I pull out the engine I will end up overhauling the whole thing and I would rather have some fun driving it for a bit first.
