1973 British Leyland Mini.
Imported from Germany.
LHD.
Possible Riley Elf dash?
998cc engine.
VIN XA2S1N851986B
On engine block WFM1026//4
On engine tag 99hd81____3519 ( can't make out blank area)
Someone said a 1984 Steering column?
What year seats?
Is it a Mark 3 body?
Factory sunroof?

I saw your thread on the "other" board. As was posted there, your car has a lot of new car parts even if it is sporting an early title. I'm not smart enough to hazard a guess even after looking through the photo album.

Regarding the dash, I'd say it's "Elf like" but probably a very high quality aftermarket part. From the pictures, yours looks better.
 
Looks like about a 92-93 car, to me. Is it fuel injected? with a nice Rockee - (sp???) dash.
 
No not fuel injected. I posted this same question on 2 other sites and the respondents seem to think it's from 1987 - 1992. No one has seen that dash though.
 
OK, well if not fi, then it has to be prior to 92.

The steering wheel, and column, is a give-away to when that was first used. 87 sounds right, but that's beyond my knowledge right now.

These "other forums" you mention - I hope one is minimania's, as you will find people there with the knowledge you require, I'm sure.
