I came across this video tonight and found it very interesting as I grew up on a cable station in Ireland. Both my Father and Grand Father worked for the Commercial Cable Company.

The CCC was started to break the lock that AT&T had on transatlantic cable messages.
The photo is of the Cable station office in Waterville Ireland.

David - something tells me you have quite a life story! The cars you've known, the places you've been, the work you've done.

Hello Tom
Had not thought of it like that.
I have had a great life living in Ireland, England and now the US. Traveling for work all over the world for the last 40+ years doing a job I loved for the most part. Some countries were less palatable than others. Being in Iran when President Regan bombed Libya was tense.
