C39 vs C40 Dynamo rebuild/parts

Hello Members,

I have a question to the experienced electricians:

Currently I am in the process of rebuilding several Dynamos, a mixed set of original parts, NOS parts and modern replacements.

-NOS C40 Armatures
-modern field coil C40, new
-used Armatures C39 (VOM tested, good, apparently no internal short)
-used field coils C39 (VOM tested, 6.7 Ohms)

Are there any KNOWN adverse effects of mixing C39 field coils with C40 armatures or VICE VERSA?
The only thing I am aware of is that an original C39 is supposed to deliver 19 amps vs C40 with 22 amps.

I am still using my RB106/2 37290F control box and have no intention of switching to electronics.

Cheers,
Woolf
