Hello all!

I'm new around here, as I've just started to realize my dreams for vintage car fun. No LBC yet, but I have the beginnings of the purchase fund started. I've been researching endlessly, buying books, saving money, internet searching like nuts. Research is free, after all. LBCs are not.

One question--have folks had good luck buying cars through eBay? I'm leaning towards a Bugeye, and they're a little harder to find here in Utah. So once I get the funds together, it's going to be a nationwide search. I'm a little nervous about the distance purchase thing. Any thoughts?

Thanks all in advance.

First of all, welcome! Research and anticipation is a big part of the fun, so enjoy! Ebay is a mixed bag. Buyer beware in a lot of cases. It is possible to find a good car at a reasonable price, but try to get it checked out before buying. Good luck, and have fun searching!
