Busy weekend... radiator and gas tank out

Got busy with the next few Tunebug projects this weekend. I pulled the radiator and gas tank, so I can take them to a shop for recore/cleaning. The gas tank looks to be in really good shape from the outside, but with noticeable sludge inside. The radiator will be recored if necessary.

I also pulled the thermostat cover and had a looksie. Lots of sludge and scale in there, probably a part of my cooling issue is gunk and blocked passages inside. All the more reason to get going on the 1275 build. The stuff in the picture was hard scale of some sort.

Yuck!

Bet that orange stuff does not transfer heat very well.
