Ever heard of the Burlington Arrow? A replicar (not kit but just plans to build) similar to the Dolomite built on Herald/Spitfire chassis. Quite attractive really!

Neat. The Triumph separate frame is a logical choice for this type of project. I love the 30's roadsters, so this would be something I'm interested in. A less easy choice is a unibody Spridget, but here's one:
