No fishing for me for the past seven (7) weeks.
Bummer and really depressing. Boat's running ever
so good; tuna, mahi and wahoo offshore and here
I sit typing on the BCF forum. I should be out fishing.

WHY AREN'T I FISHING ??

It all the fault of Paul, Ben and all the other northeast
coast folks and their blasted winter storms. Those storms
end up here in Puerto Rico as cold fronts with extreme high
seas, high winds and small craft warnings- week after week.

Ten (10) foot seas predicted to continue for at least the next week.

BLARGH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I look out my window to my "Sea", things are a bit different.

I doesn't move at all.

In fact, it has about 1" of top-hard.

But it needs about 4" to 6". Then we can go out onto it with a gasoline post-hole digger, drill holes and set up the "tip-ups". /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Hey Dale, at least it`s not snowing in your neck of the woods! we`ve got three storms lined up out in the Pacific North West. Starting today forcast ... Snow, Firday forcast .... Snow Sunday forcast ..... more Snow. But never the less I feel your pain! I have the Camping bug BAD! I guess i`ll have to go sit in the drivers chair in the Motor Home and say to myself Varoom Varoom /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif . One consolation, I do get to ride the A.T.V. To push Snow out of the driveway { Jumping for Joy } Uh Huh!

Well Kerry,

At least you get to ride an ATV.

I guess with a 1,000 miles now driven on my Six
I could always start rebuilding the front and rear
suspensions again....or replace the ignition system-
until the seas calm down.

Nope, Paul would beat me up if I did that.

Bummed out. Doctor's appointment at 11:30 doesn't
cheer me up either.

Wel, by April it BETTER be sunny & calm!

April showers bring May flowers in new England.
In Puerto Rico, April brings tarpon and snook,

dropped 10 degrees here overnight to -7c with 80-90 km/h winds everything just froze up solid

It's not an ATV Kerry but a bit of fun nonetheless!

See how dreadful the ocean is, was and continues to be?

Dale; I went out on a fishing charter on a 40 Ft. Cat. when I lived in Corpus, Christi Texas. The day we went there were 8 Ft. seas, we went out about 30 miles to some off shore drilling rigs to fish for Red Snapper. Almost everyone on board got sick {Not me thanks to Drammimine the night before and the morning there of} My point is What a rough ride. we did however manage to catch a limit {at least I did}. Those big charters suck big time! I would never go again or recomend anyone else taking one that was over five or six people.
And certainly NOT in 8 Ft. Seas. Hopefully by the time the guys arrive things will have calmed down and y`all will have bluebird weather to go out in. B.T.W. riding the A.T.V. to push Snow isn`t nearly as fun as one might suspect /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif
However it does certainly beat the crap out of shoveling the stuff! I`d much rather be driving a Tr down a coastal highway inclimate weather or not.
Kerry

Now don't be blaming us!! It's been fairly quiet round here for a while.
got some kinda mess coming through tonight, but I jinxed it from becoming anything serious by hooking up my plow ahead of time.
It'll be just enough to be miserable.
