I could have sworn I replaced my bulkhead heater connector when I did my motor work. Every time I get my face down in the passenger well I am treated to a rusty pair of stacked inlets. YUK /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/pukeface.gif
Didn't I see someone mention, long ago, about a SS version of this. Makes sense to me.
Anybody remember this?

I could easily be mistaken, but I thought a TR6 heater has no soft hoses inside the cabin ... meaning that what you are looking at is the ends of the heater core itself.

And it's probably about time for a new core. Looks like there's not much besides rust & paint holding those together. Someone hasn't been keeping the antifreeze changed (undoubtedly the DPO /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif )

I know it's time for a new one . I just could have sworn I heard of a SS one Dang. TRF actually says they are prone new pin leaks. You would think they would create something.

Randall I'm sure you figured it out by now but this is on the other side side of the interior rubber hoses. I think this is an original piece and was 26 years old when it last had fluid running thru it.

Sorry, my bad. Should have looked before spouting off.

As penance, I'll go change the ignition coil on the Great White Whale now.

I found this from West-Classic. Anybody heard of them

Looks like it would be really easy to cut some stainless pipe and make that item especially as little of the backing plate shows.
