Does anyone know the wattage of these bulbs?

headlight
tail lights
turn signal
panel
license plate

And also the amperage of these components

starter,
coil,
distributer
generator/alternator

The panel lights are 2.2 watts
The 1157 bulb used for parking and turn signals and brakes are about 27 watts for the high power filament and maybe 8-14 watts for the low power filament.
A 7" sealed beam std. headlight is about 50 watts on low beam and 60 watts on high.

license plate--Can have two Bulbs

And also the amperage of these components
starter, locked 460 AMPs---Runing 45 AMPs
coil, 4 to 5 AMPs
distributer ---0
generator Static 2 to 3 AMPs
/alternator-- I Dunno!

What are you going to do with this information?

well, reading a post by andrea in my query re additional fusing below he spoke of adding additional fuses to protect:
Air blower motor
SU fuel pump
Tail Light
Head Lamp/fog Lamp
Aux Fan

so, that's what I'm attempting to do.

Anyone know the fuse specs for these items if I were to fuse them?

Also, would there be any benefit to fusing the items I asked about above:

starter, generator etc (other than bulbs)?

Aux Fan--------Vendor will specify

Also, would there be any benefit to fusing the items I asked about above:------Tail lamp Feed 5 AMP's in the boot
License plate lamp 2 AMP @ its connection to the harness in the boot
OD 5 to 7.5 AMP Slow Dlow

starter, generator etc (other than bulbs)?------IMOP--- :nonod:
Just think it has lasted over 40 years as it is and never burned its self to the ground. Some up grade can help too much can hinder

I'm just curious, Keoke: I fused the red wire (with a 5 amp in-line) just before it goes into the boot right around the fuel pump. Why wouldn't that protect the whole rear light circuit including the license plate light?

It might just do the job. However, in circuits like this to minimise potential damage to wiring we produce what is called in trade circles a Marriage, a lower valued fuse is inserted at the point of most likely failure [ license plate connection to harness] and a larger one at the feed. This minimises the chance of the harness being influential or damaged during the fault.
If we were faced with a design constraint either economic weight or lack of space we would opt for the 2 amp fuse only.
