My family got me a copy of Built for Adventure....The Classic Automobiles of Clive Cussler and Dirk Pitt for my birthday. Oh am I a HAPPY boy...er man!! Even includes several British cars. Stunning pictures of gorgeous cars from when cars were CARS! (Ok, imvho...don't shoot me! LoL) Yum, yum, yum!! HIGHLY recommend for the pictures. The write ups on each car are a little lacking, but like OTHER publications aren't we REALLY just interested in the picture??? LoL

Peter,

I know that Shawn (swift6) has been there. He's probably the
best person to contact about this.
Also - Thanks a lot for letting me know - our Son lived a few
miles away from there,I've been in Arvada/Westminster many times, but
wasn't aware of where the museum was located (kicks self).
I believe that it used to be be private - you either had to be
invited,or had to attend as a local car club function.

was looking through the book the other day - you are correct about the writeups but what beautiful cars! Congrats!

I met Clive at a book signing here a couple of years ago. Got a signed copy of Atlantis Found. Cool guy.
