Building a new workbench -- seeking ideas!

Howdy all!

I'm building a new workbench in my garage this weekend, and I would love ideas from the collective. I plan on building it out of wood -- nothing fancy, but would like to see what others have done with their work space.

Mine's out of 2x6's with a Masonite covering. Braced/bolted to a concrete block wall. I can wrestle tranny's and short blocks around on it. If the top gets marred, simple replacement.
 
Old kitchen cabinets with 2 layers of 3/4" ply on top.
I wanted ~something~ out of the kitchen renovation :wink:
 
Here's a corner in my workshop...those tables are just built by putting together 2x4's with 1/8" masonite on each side of the uprights; then the longitudinal pieces of 2x4 are installed & a 1/8" masonite back with 1/2" plywood bottom shelf & 3/4" plywood top...they were quick & cheap!

Uppers are old kitchen cabinets I bought from an apartment complex that was updating.

Here is mine about 1 month ago when I installed the 1/8" Masonite. It's a lot busier now but was an easy build and is strong as heck.

I sort of work in construction and got a 10' solid door from a job. I cut it down to 32" and built a frame for it. Voila, sturdy as the Titanic
 
Old blackboards work great.Also,make sure
you have your outlets at 4' off of the ground,
+ you can never have too many of them.
