Buick engines

I'm looking at a car that might need a bit of head work. Possibly a valve job. I'm told that the heads (which are not stock) are from a Buick 300.

Anyone know how badly I'll get hit if it does need work? Surely can't be as bad as the TR engine, can it?

They are pretty easy to have reworked at any competent machine shop. They are after all, American iron. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

You know what I meant. Most machine shops here are setup for American made stuff. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
