Hello,
I need some help on the wooden slats that go under the seat frames. First of all, the wooden slats go above the carpet, correct? Do both seats have the wooden slats, or only the driver's side? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Above the carpet, and only on the drivers side. They help the adjustment mechanism clear, and would not work too well under carpet.

Carpet is not a stock item for a Bugeye. It was rubber mats and they did not go under the wooden slats.

However, may I suggest that you use the plastic stuff you can get at places like Home Depot. Cuts with wood working tools etc. Plastic never rots.
