Gentlemen:

when I purchased my 1960 BE it came without a top. I purchased a new top from Moss. I took it to the upholstery shop where they told me I need a strip in metal in the from and rear to provide a little rigidityto the top.

I haven't seen these available from Moss or VB. Can someone tell me what steps to take? Can these things be made? If so, anyone know the dimesions?

Boy, are you in luck!!! I just happen to have mine out and handy right now, so let me photograph them, add some dimensions and add to the post!

#1 (which goes across the back)
is: 32 1/4" long, 3/4" wide, 3/16" thick
It does have somewhat of a compound bend in it!
#2 (which goes across the front, into the groove at the top of the windscreen)
is: 34 7/8" long, 9/16" wide, 1/16" thick
It seems to be essentially a straight piece with a bit of a bow to match the
windscreen

Hope that helps!!
