Looks nice, someone should take a look at this price.
Has a hardtop. Too far away for me.

good starter I guess - still wish I lived on the left coast. Not sure why anyone would put Rostyles on a BE course they match that groovy '70's steering wheel

Those steering wheels must have been really popular at one time.
I've got one here I ripped out of my Sprite.
I guess they went along with 'burnt orange shag carpet' and 'beaded' everything.
Anyway, this isn't a left coast car it's in Minnesota!!

Every once in a while I do a big search on Craigslist for Sprites.

lol! yep, my BE had a similar steering wheel, but red shag carpet and a 8-track! Groovy man!

it's hard to see any rust, but that seems like a good price for a running complete bugeye.

All "updates" to modernize the cars - amazing how old it all looks now

Yeah, the old and original stuff looks so much better to us "now".
Strange isn't it?

I put a black Bugeye steering wheel in my MK2 - but it also has an original Bugeye engine with it's smoothcase (by the numbers) and Bugeye style seats. I just think it looks better that way!

A Bugeye front end on this thing would be more original that the hood that it has.

I've also ran into big Healey guys who think the MK2 would make a better Bugeye than the Bugeye - merely because it has a trunk!!

Trunks are for wimps!

Besides, the Bugeye has a trunk, it's just a bit more of a challenge to get in there.

There are several on the Los Angeles Craigslist right now, too. Some seem like a good deal. Do a search under "Healey" and you'll get things from other local lists as well as LA.

Whenever you do a search, be sure to use both "Healey" and "Healy." Lotsa folks can't spel rite. Also search under "Bugeye" and "Bug Eye." Amazing that people will list a car under "Bugeye" only

Also, while I'm on the subject--there is a guy trying to sell a "Triumph Speedfire." Good luck finding it if you do a search for "Spitfire."
