Hi,
Does anyone know where the BE muffler attaches? Is it the driver side rear overrider bracket underneath? If so, which hole (forward or rear)?

Getting close! Hoping to fire up in the next 2 weeks!!!!

Thanks!

Just inboard of the rear of the car, I think the other hole maybe a bumperet mount?

so...one of the rear overrider mounting holes?

I am not sure what you meant Jack...

If anyone has a handy pic, I would love to see it. Sorry for a basic question.

There was a seperate bolt that came down through the boot floor just to the left and forward of the bumperette mounts. This bolt was spot welded to the boot floor from the inside.

You got it Biff. It was seperate and distinct from the overriders and had a rubber kind of hanger on it?

No picture with me, but I'll try and grab one when I get home if no one else has posted anything.

This is from a 1/2 elliptic rear, but screw hole can be seen. I think the BE is is to the left of lower bumper mount screw in the strengthening rib.

Look in the Moss catalog, a long bolt with washers and rubber washers top and bottom.

Sorry, I've been sidelined with my sister's visit this weekend. Do you still need a photo? I'll try to grab one on Saturday. Didn't think of it today when I had the car out.

If you have one handy, Drew-terrific. If not, I'll check Moss. I just think that I will have to drill a new hole--I think the body guy filled it (whoops).

PS> thanks so much for the shim Jack--just got it today!

Very welcome, my pleasure. Note how clean and ready it is to install, hehehehehe. Miss Agatha has not even missed it.

Here's a shot I got this morning. Definitely a hole next to the bumper mounts. The tank is offset to the passenger side a bit, no hole there at all.
