Bugeye Hardtop

I'm looking for a hardtop for my '59 BE. I guess I need a little history of the same as well as some advice. My sense is that hardtops for MK2 and newer will fit a bugeye but it seems that a true bugeye hardtop looks "rounder" than a MK2 or newer. Or am I just crazy?

There is a guy selling Bugeye hardtops on the "Bugeye Parts" web site. Click on bugeye parts new and scroll down a little bit and you will see the post.

Factory Hardtops look like this nice and round on the back. This one belongs to Bugsy II my '59. Up in the rafters in storage. Hardtop - 3.jpg

I do not like the front contour of the factory bugeye tops. They are too squarish. I have two sitting in my basement, and I think I'll modify one to fit on my early style wind screen.
