Bugeye hardtop rear window removal

Has anyone ever removed the rear window from their bugeye hard top before? If so, can you tell me how you did it? Also, does someone have a source for the rear window seal and a price? I don't know if it is the paint or some sort of gel coat, but it is flaking off in the inside and I feel like I will need to end up removing the window to do it correctly. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I thought this was the standard rubber seal of the day. Have you a photo of it? I was pleasantly surprised I could get the seal for the factory MGB hardtop from MacGregor in Canada:

Thanks so much for the information. It looks MacGregor's sells all of the seals for the top. The seals seem to be ok in general, but I do not know what is going to happen when I take out the rear window (if I can figure out how to do it.)
