New to this forum but not British cars. I just bought a 58 Sprite that came with a fiberglass hardtop in decent condition.I most likely will not use it and will be selling. What's the going price?

Thanks, Donnie

I'd say $5 is about the going rate. How far is Huntingburg from Louisville KY. ;)

Seriously though, it depends on the type of top and condition. Project tops go for about $150-200, and some ready to go units have brought as much as $1800-2000.

Condition, presence of attaching hardware and rear window glass(not plastic) are most important. Next is location relative to real buyer.
Freight can be a big expense for the buyer.
If everything is correct and the the top just needs refurbished, $500 could be a good price to get. Price can go up and down from that point.
It is important to remember that only factory tops will command a good price. There are many aftermarket tops for Bugeyes that are of little or no value.
