Hi Folks,

I have a `59 Bugeye with a stk. 948 engine with a stk. Generator. My Tach was`nt working so I bought a new cable.

Installed it into the guage first & then started pocking around in the back of the Generator to get the "Square" drive pin to engage in the Generator.

Well; There is no Drive Gear or whatever the end of the cable is supposed to fit into!!

Question; The part that I need; Would that be the Moss Mtrs. P/N 361-870 (Gearbox Tach Drive) for $95.00 (Ouch)!

Would anyone have the part out there for sale? What about a whole Generator?

Do you have the proper generator (the one that works with the tach drive)? I probably have a surplus tach drive. Give me a PM.
 
Your need a tac drive generator and a gear box for same.
