Bugeye combo Heater blower Switch

Way back 45 years ago the first owner of my Bugeye added a switch for the fan motor. I am assuming that the combo Fan and heater flap switch died and that it was easier to add a separate switch than to replace the combo.
I am thinking about redoing the vinyl on the 56 year old dash and If I am going to take everything apart I figured to bring it back to Original (except for the electric fuel pump switch).
I do not see the switch being available in the regular Moss/VB sources. does anyone know if they are available anywhere?
Also, has any one tried to repair this switch?

Thanks

Joe

Not available new but used ones come up fairly often on flea bay. If your sure yours doesn't work I can't see any reason not to try and repair it. I think I have a spare with a cut cable from a pars car.

The switch hasn't been available for quite some time. They do come up on eBay going anywhere from $25 to $100.00, the last one I saw on eBay was in August.
I had to get the cable on my original one un-stuck but have not had to mess with the electrical bits. I remember reading that someone had taken theirs apart and repaired it so depending on what the problem is it looks like it can be done.
