Bugeye carpet

Rubber mats were standard, and they pretty much disintegrated quickly. To the best of my knowledge they are not remade, so pretty much everyone uses carpet now.

Bugeye Guys has the rubber mat kit for early Sprites in red, black and green.

Very cool, didn't know they'd put something like that into production

Those original rubber mats offer a real conundrum when it comes to concours points. The original mats deteriorated quickly so you'll lose points for having them. If you install reproduction mats you lose points for not having the old mats. There are no NOS mats that have not deteriorated from storage.
