Our local Triumph club has a breakfast followed by an informal drive once a month on Sunday mornings. One of the guys could only stay for the breakfast, so he didn't bring his TR4. He brought his Aston Martin DB7 V12 Vantage and in a moment of weakness (madness) he let me have a quick drive in it. I punched the start button and took in the most glorious sound of that 420HP V12.

Drive an Aston Martin - check.

Also, by some miracle, I got a second place at a car show yesterday. I've never won anything before, but to put it in perspective there were only a few TR4s to compete against; however, there were more than 2.

Not a bad weekend at all.

Great for you on both counts!

A funny- some of my Stateside friends have
going tarpon fishing with ME on their bucket lists.
