Greetings! I am working on a frame up restoration of a BT7, I have a jule frame, bilstein shock conversion kit, stock ft springs and bj8 rear springs supplied by Martin Jule (will slightly lower rear) I considering a 7/8" front bar and a 1' rear bar, ( I have both) your thoughts on the set-up are welomed. Thanks

Just a note BJ8 cars do mot use a rear sway bar
 
That setup will br GREAT for doing donuts!

With a 7/8" front bar, if you use a rear bar at all (most do not) 1/2" to 5/8" is probably as thick as you want to go.

Too stiff on the rear will have it swapping ends (oversteer) at the drop of a hat.
 
Randy is right, you will be much happier with no rear bar and the 7/8" front bar. Particularly in the rain.....

In racing situations a rear bar might be beneficial for getting that last few tenths out if it (in conjunction with other chassis set-up factors) but for a street driver it will make the car a lot less forgiving in sudden evasive moves.
