BT7 Speedo Cable Routing

Hello

I thought the speedo cable on my BT7 would route through a hole in the gearbox cover or the extension but there are no holes. Can somone enlighten me on the routing for the speedo cable?

Thanks

Myles

Myles,
Mine runs between the gearbox cover extension and the firewall. I made a channel in the seal between the two. I'm pretty sure that's correct, but not 100%.

Keith is correct. The cable runs between the firewall and the firewall cover. It exits the firewall directly about the center of the transmission and runs up to the speedo.

Heres how I did mine which is a BN4 but should be the same. I used 1/2 inch foam weather strip with adhesive back and I installed it so that it butt up tight to the cable on each side so it would make an air tight seal.
