i was wondering if anyone could tell me from the pic below if this is a newer radiator core.

back when i was putting the motor together i took the radiator to a local shop to check out. he said at the time that someone had put a new core in it. there were no leaks and the radiator had great flow.

i am still running hotter than i would like so if the core is the newer style, i will look to add a pusher fan this fall.

Thanks

That does appear to have more tubes than__what I can remember of__an original radiator.

Besides more tubes, and hence fluid capacity, it is beneficial to increase the number of fins per inch as well; a true high performance core will have both.
