Greetings everyone. Does anyone have a good picture of what the door pilar cap is suppose to look like installed? This is the little aluminum cap that cover the end of the furflex on each door pillar. I've search through many online photos and Healey books but cant find a good illustration/picture of how and where its installed. Thanks for your help.

Steve

If this is what you mean, the attached is from an unmolested (unrestored) 1960 BT7.

Lin, This is exactly what I was looking for. Is there a piece of wood/aluminum (block) underneath the aluminum cap to make it level? Thanks for the picture and help.

Steve

The vinyl covered wooden block is approximately 5/8" high x 1-1/2" wide x 1- 3/4" deep. It is located to the panel below it by a self tapping screw that goes through the center of the block into the sheet metal.
