Donny, Once you get your car on the road and drive it around for awhile, a hardtop will appear! Relax, all things in good time. Some fella saw me in my car, flagged me down and was happy to get it out of his garage. He had bought it, thinking it was for a Sprite, found out it was for a BT7. kept it safe, even against the wishes of SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED, all the while waiting for a guy like me to appear. I gave him $150. --elrey

Aftre wanting a hardtop for 40 years, I found one on ebay for $1300. Very good shape but I restored the interior with parts from Bill Bolton. If you drive your car in the winter months, you will be amazed what a difference the hardtop will make in the experience. It's quiet and weather proof. Almost like a BMW...

Driving a Healey around in the winter? Not only did it take me all morning to get the thing to turn over, but the bumper bolts kept snapping off because the snowplow on the front was too heavy.

You California guys have such a sense of humour.....

I bought a 2 seater hard top for $1500 needing new rubber, paint and minor fiberglass repair. Bolton's seal kit $400, rear window $400, paint and repair $400. Good to go

Is somebody looking for a BT-7 hard top? I believe I may have one. My cars are all two seaters, as well as I agree with not wanting to put a snow plow on the front for getting around in the winter months. If you are interested in the hard top, PM me and we can e-mail info and pictures to see if it may be what you are looking for.

galen, ive explored the rubber componets of most if not all these tops, the rubber seal material is available in all the shapes and sizes needed for a rebuild for alot less money then the "seal kits" that are available from the makers. :savewave:
