We left Miami yesterday at noon, a bit "cool" (mid-70's) for them. Got across the Slley and it felt like 82 and humid. By the time we'd got to the hovel it had gone down to high 60's and this AM it was COLD. Still not to 70.
Another "day" of winter. wah. Long pants 'n sweatshirt again. :madder:
Don't know about the sun Doc,but you have to remember I grew up in Scotland and wear the kilt.
And down in Kiwi land,I only ever put long pants on for special occasions. :cooler:.
Well, I grew up in western PA, double digit below zero (F) winters were common... but I learned better'n to STAY. Now my blood seems to have thinned or sommat. My toes went numb this mornin'. Had t' put on SOCKS, too!
Dave, I visited Canada in 1997.People were sking on Grouse Mtn,and in Jasper.The month was April,the last week of.I actually wore a ski suit,and it was still cold.
Billy Connolly has this skit about the Scots being the only blue race. Not woad, that's their natural complexion! Striding about the Highlands in their kilts in all weathers. For Stuart, anything above freezing is a warm, pleasant day!
