Just got my great grandmothers Brownie Hawkeye camera. Its hardly been used and is still in it box, now I just need to find some film for it and see if it will still take a decent picture.

Now, THERE'S a relic!

Had one as a kid, but it's long gone.

I think I still have my first Instamatic 100 - the very first model, complete with pop-up flash. BIG news back in the day!

I have three of the four cameras on the front page of that website. Just missing the twin lens reflex.

Film is still getable for those. Just not at the corner drug store. You may have to mail order it. B&W neg, color neg & color positive all still available.

I guess once they became Girl Scouts they were too busy selling cookies to take pictures. :jester:

Worked in camera stores a large part of my life, must have tossed literal tons of non-functioning Kodak cameras in th' bin. Repaired my share as well. Single blade, "guillotine" shutter ones were usually not worth repairing.

As a gag birthday gift for a pal long ago I rigged up an Instamatic with a 1/4x20 tripod insert and a strobe flash connection (yes, working!). Put it in a presentation box (from an old Exacta, IIRC) and "rebranded" the trade dress...
"Spitzgrummish Agamemnon" with th' famed f64 lens.
