Hi, Is there a snowball's chance that this can be replaced on the car without pulling the half shaft / axle out?

Thanks,
Tom Lains

Tom, yes, just loosen the six nuts that hold the rear axle in place and pull or pry easily enough to get clearance to get the stud out.. Be sure an not over tighten going back, as this is aluminum and will strip if you grunt on a big wrench. If you are lucky, a full stud and bolt my come out, giving even more clearance.

I don't think the 4A is any different in this respect than the 6, I've never had to do anything to the hub to remove/replace the wheel studs.

We shall proceed slowly and see if a good one can be removed. They all need to be replaced
Thanks to all for responding.
