Broke off d*mn bolt

I was going to replace the thermostat in my 79. While tightening the nuts on the housing, one of them snapped even with the housing. I didn't think I was overtightening it as I was applying minimal pressure.

How difficult will it be to replace this bolt?

NAPA and their stud collection would be my first suggestion. A "stud remover" like THESE with plenty of ~loose-juice~ ahead of it to unwind the broken stud, too.

"Sprag" sockets.

The best penetrant is a fifty-fifty mix of acetone and ATF, shaken and applied repetedly over a day or so should help.

If you ever get them out, go back with bolts, and remember to seal them, I sue telfon tape, as 2 of threaded holes there go into the water section of the head.
